About Crowned and Dangerous by Rhys Bowen
Lady Georgiana Rannoch is thirty-fifth in line to the British crown, and marriage to Darcy O’Mara comes with complications: she needs the King’s permission to marry a Roman Catholic, and neither of them has much money. Their plans to elope are put on hold when Darcy’s father is arrested for the murder of a wealthy American.
Darcy’s father insists he is innocent, so Georgiana and Darcy travel to Ireland to investigate and clear his name. This mystery blends a royal marriage dilemma with a family murder accusation, and may appeal to readers looking for a historical mystery involving British royalty and Ireland.
