About The Au Pair Affair by Tessa Bailey
Tallulah is a marine biology student who is short on money when hockey veteran Burgess offers her a live-in nanny job. The arrangement puts her in the home of a newly single father and his introverted tween daughter, Lissa—and close to the gruff athlete himself.
This sports rom-com pairs a workplace romance with the challenges of family life. As Tallulah encourages Burgess to return to dating, their attraction complicates the boundaries of her job. Burgess must also reckon with his daughter’s hope that her parents will reunite, while Tallulah faces the cost of stepping away when the household’s needs and her feelings collide.
A fit for readers who enjoy contemporary romance featuring hockey, a single dad, a nanny-and-employer setup, and a couple navigating complicated family dynamics.
